Client Context

Detail Studio is an architecture practice where project success relies heavily on collaboration between team members working across complex design challenges. The leadership team wanted to invest in the ongoing development of their staff, helping individuals strengthen both their professional capability and their ability to work effectively as a team.

Challenge

As the business continued to grow, the leadership team recognised the need to:

  • strengthen communication within the team

  • improve collaboration across projects

They were looking for a structured program that could support both personal growth and team performance.

Approach

Dan designed and facilitated a structured team development program delivered through a series of interactive workshops. Each session focused on a specific element of professional and team development. Workshop modules included:

  1. Strengths — understanding individual talents and working styles

  2. Values and Connection — building shared understanding across the team

  3. Collaboration in Action — improving how the team works together on projects

  4. Goal Setting — supporting individual and professional development

  5. Self-Responsibility — encouraging ownership and accountability

  6. Mindset, Resilience and Wellbeing — strengthening personal effectiveness

The sessions were designed to be practical, engaging, and directly connected to the real challenges faced by the team.

Results
